Ugh ! ...in the new millennium.

Full goth-industrialmetal, issued by Tom G. Warrior from CELTIC FROST Gods, the dawn of APOLLYON SUN also features Marquis Marky from CORONER on drums. This new digital adventure ain't no oriental masquerade.

From their 1998 God Leaves (And Dies) electronica MCD, they incorporate some heavy-guitars and primal rhythms. The "Dweller (Subhuman remix)" upbeat could find a home in some Berlin after-hour club, while the fat "Feeder" and "Mother Misplaced" crush to a very different kind of tribal beat.

Far beyond the future, "Human III" all lie "Naked Underground" ....the viscosity lever is high in the tone-department. The mechanical "Messiah (Second Coming)" is a too modern take on the 1984 HELLHAMMER cut of the same name.

Riding along the current late 90s industrial heavyrock flair, APOLLYON SUN's blazing future was locked from it's very beginning. FROST fans didn't weight in, so did metal-fans nor industrial-fans. There shall not be a second APOLLYON SUN full-length record, as Tom eventually rekindled with ...Martin Eric Ain.

Brotherhood locked in, the two gents reactivated the legendary unit and entered writing and production for 2006's Monotheist CD ...putting to rest sixteen years of dormancy: the return of CELTIC FROST !
