XENTRIX
1990 - For Whose Advantage ?
way more Helter Skelter.

August 28, 1990 - 2025: 35 years of: For Whose Advantage ?

The UK was now in the mix.

While actual heavymetal originated from this lovely island, the fact is: 84% of Earth's thrash is American-bred. During the last moshpit circle-lap, XENTRIX presents their version of polished progressive-thrashmetal.

The slick metal captures us with "Questions". From mosh to melodies, "The Human Condition" is tamed to perfection, along with the menacing melting unisons of "False Ideals".

A blast of burst flashes, as the "Black Embrace" raise the mercury in the red, while the acoustics of "New Beginnings" softly sooths the mood. Through dire times, society is "Kept In The Dark" and yet the unanswered remains, all of this is "For Whose Advantage ?"

Following XENTRIX's sweet vengeance in speedmetal; 1989's Shattered Existence LP, the band now opted for a more mature outlook. The great Bay-Area ...straight outta Great Britain. Their next trick, the Kin CD, would provide more cool ghost bustin' ...in a very very very different 1992.
